What unit sizes do you have?

Our sizes range from 5' x 5', 5' x 10', 10' x 10', 10' x 15', 10’x 20’, 10’x 25’, 10' x 32.5'. and range from  8’-11’ high. 

Does Hilltop Self Storage have special units for larger items?

We have storage units that are higher and longer than normal (32 feet long) for the storage of CARS, BOATS and TRAILERS, etc...(some units can store multiple vehicles)

We also have special temperature controlled units designated for CARS. These units are equipped with garage door openers for your convenience. 

Does Hilltop Self Storage provide me with a lock?

We have locks for sale in our office.

Are your storage units temperature controlled?

Yes, we have several temperature controlled storage units available. All of our units have a 10 mil moisture barrier underneath the concrete that stops moisture from entering the the units. 

We also have special temperature controlled units designated for CARS. These units are equipped with garage door openers for your convenience. 

Are your storage units musty and damp?

All of our units have a 10 mil moisture barrier underneath the concrete that reduces the moisture content keeping the units dry as possible.

I want to reserve a unit, how far in advance can I reserve it?

You can reserve your unit up to 14 days before you move in.

Do I have to sign a lease or can I rent a unit on a month-to-month basis?

Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements – no long-term lease is required.  

What notice do you require before I move out?

We would like 30 days notice, but some circumstances make this impossible. Please give us as much advance notice as possible. 

What are the days and hours that I may access my storage unit?

Our facility is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but office hours are as follows:.
Monday- Sunday 8am - 5pm.

Do you require insurance on the contents of my storage unit?

We currently offer insurance through a third party for all of your insurance needs. You are responsible for the things you store at Hilltop Self Storage in the event of a loss. 

Can I have packages delivered to my storage unit?

We currently offer delivery service for an additional $25.00 per month and you may be required to leave a key in the office.

What documents do I need to provide so that I may rent a storage unit?

You will need to provide a valid, government-issued form of identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID or passport). If you are renting Outside Storage for a trailer, boat, camper etc, we require a copy of the title or registration.

Can I rent a storage unit over the phone or do I need to visit the facility in person?

You can rent your unit online, in person or by phone.  We are very flexible with our hours of operation so call anytime day or night.

How do I pay my bill?

You can Auto Pay, pay by mail, in person or on the internet using your credit card. By mail: Please include your unit # with your check; in person: cash, check or credit card is acceptable.  You can also pay rent by enclosing payment in an envelope and dropping it in the U-haul Night Drop mailbox at our facility.  

Will you move my belongings?

We are in the business of self-storage, with that said, we have a partnership with an EXCELLENT Moving company in the area to assist you. Just Ask!
